With it, the ship&#8217;s hull offers less friction and less resistance to advancement. This increases energy efficiency and reduces fossil fuel consumption, thus reducing vessels&#8217; energy consumption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>PBCF &#8211; Propeller Boss Cap Fins<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We are pioneers in investing in PBCF, which consists of changing the propeller hub to reduce or eliminate the vortex caused at the ship&#8217;s stern, improving performance, and optimizing the power applied to the propulsion shaft. In other words, the action generates savings of up to 5% in fuel consumption and an equivalent reduction in CO2 emissions \u2013 which helps to slow down some climate change, improves air quality, and helps preserve ecosystems, among other benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solar panels on vessels<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We use a solar panel system that reduces fuel consumption on barges at anchor, generating greater efficiency and operational comfort and reducing the use of fossil fuels.
