For over six years, NORSUL has supported the Bolshoi Theater School in Brazil. The institution has been operating since March 15, 2000, in the city of Joinville, Santa Catarina, and is the only branch of the famous Bolshoi Theater in Russia.
The school provides the formation of dance artists, with students coming from different Brazilian states and abroad. The institution unites art, culture, and education and emphasizes its social commitment, by granting 100% scholarships and benefits to all of its students. NORSUL is very proud to support this initiative that is aligned with NORSUL’s Social Impact Program.
In 2020, the Bolshoi Theater School in Brazil completed 20 years, an important milestone for national culture, and of course, like all educational institutions, it needs to overcome the challenges and obstacles caused by social isolation. At this moment, the school has the help of several private companies as supporters, and the certainty that soon its students will be back to studying and dancing together, in a safe and careful way, learning that art can be a tool to educate and also to humanize relationships.
Being part of this story driven by the search for individual talent reinforces our commitment to support work that goes beyond the company’s core business.
