Cabotage and Long Haul
Our fleet of ocean pushers and owned and chartered dry and liquid cabotage ships can facilitate all types of cargo transportation and logistics, such as cellulose, wood, and steel products.
Since 2003, we have served our customers pioneeringly in Brazil, operating convoys of different types of vessels developed by Norsul with Brazilian designers and built in national shipyards. This transport system is integrated into our customers’ production chain, with the barges functioning as storage units.
Cargo types
Dry Bulk
Our bulk carriers move all types of solid bulk within Brazilian ports and overseas trade, transporting bauxite, iron ore, steel, clinker, cement, salt, forestry, and agriproducts.
Liquid Bulk
Since 2014, we have regularly operated in cabotage in Brazil and Mercosur, transporting a wide range of liquid bulk, including cargo classified IMO 1 and IMO 2 . In 2016, we began transporting hydrocarbons, chemical products, agricultural oils, and biofuels.
Project Cargo
Norsul transport special cargoes with dimensionally challenging, heavy, complex pieces of equipment, which often includes engineering, extensive planning, and specialized transport equipment. Transformers, platform modules, wind blades, generators, cranes, and armored vehicles: there are no limits to our delivery and transport capacity.
